About Sovicka

In this blog post, we’ll share essential tips and techniques to help you maximize the effectiveness of your vertical booth spray tan and achieve professional-quality results.

Prepare Your Skin: Before stepping into the vertical booth, properly preparing your skin for the spray tan application is essential. Start by exfoliating your skin thoroughly to remove any dead skin cells and create a smooth, even surface for the tanning solution. Pay special attention to rough areas such as elbows, knees, and ankles to prevent patchiness. Additionally, avoid applying moisturizers, oils, or lotions to your skin before the spray tan session, as they can create a barrier that prevents the tanning solution from adhering evenly.

Protect Sensitive Areas: To ensure a natural-looking tan and avoid over-darkening certain areas, it’s crucial to protect sensitive areas of your body during the spray tan session. Use barrier cream or lotion to protect areas such as your palms, soles of your feet, nails, and cuticles from absorbing excess tanning solution. You can also use disposable adhesive foam pads to cover areas like nipples and lips to prevent them from darkening too much.

Follow Proper Technique: When standing in the vertical booth, maintain a relaxed posture with your arms slightly away from your body to ensure even coverage and avoid streaks or missed spots. Begin the spray tan application by targeting one body area at a time, starting from the bottom and working your way up. Use smooth, sweeping motions to apply the tanning solution evenly, careful not to oversaturate any area. Pay close attention to hard-to-reach areas such as the back of your legs and arms, ensuring thorough coverage.
